We just sold the last solar post cap we had in stock.  We do have more on order!  Unfortunately the one part of our caps that is made in China, the solar unit, had the pattern destroyed in the earthquakes.  The new units should be available the first week in August. 
The good news is that this new pattern will be much improved!  It will still feature the amber light effect, but this one will be much brighter! I was fortunate enough to obtain at least one prototype before the unfortunate disaster in China.

This new version of our solar cap will be more expensive and will be available for $110 each.

Roman Bronze	These caps offer a "Smooth" finish.  It is sleek and low profile.  Each cap is handcrafted at local foundries, drilled and tapped at local machine shops, powder coated at a local company, and put together here when you place your order. The cap and base are both sand-cast aluminum and are nearly 1/4" thick!  The powder coating is second to none.  And the acrylic gives an exceptional look.  We get a lot of compliments on the low profile look.  The bulb sits up inside the cap.  So even when you are sitting down, you don't see the light bulb, just the light effect.

And our solar post caps feature a set of Yellow LEDs which give a soft, warm glow rather than the harsh blue light that other solar lights have.  Don't let your deck or fence look like it has a bunch of bug zappers on it ( without the zapping capability ), try our solar deck lights and your problem is solved.

We made these bases to slide on easily over the posts, yet still fit snugly.
(The Pyramid part of the Post Cap always stays the same size.
we only change the base of the cap to fit the different sizes of posts.)

Solar powered lights won't equal the light output of low voltage, but you do save money on installation and electricity with solar post caps.

These lights will work very well with a full charge from a full days worth of sun.  However, if you get a few cloudy days in a row, or your deck is shaded during the day, the light output will be diminished.

It will be a good idea to change the rechargeable batteries every 1 to 2 years.

You should keep the solar panel as clean as possible.  Wipe it off with a wet cloth to keep the dirt off of it.  It really only takes a couple of seconds per cap and it will help keep your lights working much longer.

If you are concerned with the diminished light output at all, we highly recommend the low voltage version of these lights.  They really only take a few hours to install and they guarantee that you will have good lighting no matter what the weather is like.  Plus, with them being on a timer, you can have them shut off at your desired time.
