Roman Bronze	These caps offer a "Smooth" finish.  It is sleek and low profile.  Each cap is handcrafted at local foundries here in Kansas City, drilled and tapped at local machine shops, powder coated at a local company, and put together here when you place your order. The cap and base are both sand-cast aluminum and are nearly 1/4" thick!  The powder coating is second to none.  And the low-profile acrylic gives an exceptional look.  You will not find a better quality post cap anywhere else! We get a lot of compliments on the low profile look of the lighted post caps.  The bulb sits up inside the cap.  So even when you are sitting down, you don't see the light bulb, just the light effect. However, if you need more light, we can simply add additional pieces of glass for $15 each.  Or if you want it without the light, the cap is sold without the glass for $80 each. Roman Bronze	These Post Caps and Deck Lights have a "Hammered" look to them.  It is a patented design and offers your deck the most distinct look.  These caps weigh nearly 5 lbs with the 6x6 base.  All of our caps are sand-cast aluminum or bronze.  They are nearly 1/4" thick.  And both the cap and base are metal, so you can be sure there won't be any rotting wood bases to contend with. The Hammered design is patented and offers your deck the most unique look. The cap does look a little big on 3.5" posts, so you might want to go with the smooth version if you have these smaller posts.  Need more light?  We can simply add extra pieces of glass for $15 each.  Call to order. We made these bases to slide on easily over the posts, yet still fit snugly.
(The Pyramid part of the Post Cap always stays the same size.
We only change the base of the cap to fit the different sizes of posts.)

And, unlike most other caps out there, the bases of our caps are also made of aluminum.

Cool Idea for your Lighted Post Caps and Deck Lights
We just noticed at Home Depot that they have different colored wedge based bulbs that will fit the sockets that we use. We did see red and green, so if you are interested in a little festive holiday lighting on your deck, it would only take about a minute or two to change out the regular bulbs to these holiday color bulbs.  And they were cheap too.  They were around $5 for a package of 3.
