The Hammered Black Wrinkle Post Cap / Deck Light goes really well with black spindles. It also adds a really nice contrast to cedar posts. The powder coating has a wrinkled texture that has a slight sheen to it. This is a fantastic finish that we get a lot of compliments on.
It weighs nearly 5 lbs with the 6×6 base. All of our caps are sand-cast aluminum or bronze. They are nearly 1/4″ thick. And both the cap and base are metal, so you can be sure there won’t be any rotting wood bases to contend with.
The Hammered design is patented and offers your deck the most unique look.
The cap does look a little big on 3.5″ posts, so you might want to go with the smooth version if you have these smaller posts.
